We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman/Operator to join our field team. This is a hybrid leadership and heavy equipment operation role, ideal for an individual with both operating expertise and strong crew management experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Foreman/Operator, you will operate heavy equipment such as large excavators, skid steers, dozers, and rollers, while also managing and guiding field crews on active job sites. You will play a vital role in jobsite execution, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality, while leading by example and supporting the superintendent.
JOB DUTIES
· Operate heavy machinery with skill, care, and safety compliance
· Oversee daily crew activities, provide direction, and resolve jobsite issues
· Work with superintendent to ensure project goals are met on schedule
· Assist in layout, planning, and task sequencing based on jobsite priorities
· Uphold safety standards and complete daily logs and equipment inspections
· Communicate effectively with office staff, subcontractors, and inspectors
· Help train and mentor junior crew members
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment operation and sitework leadership experience
· Proficient with large excavators, dozers, skid steers, rollers, and other common site equipment
· Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
· Familiar with basic sitework operations and sequencing (grading, utilities, concrete prep, etc.)
· Effective leadership and communication skills to coordinate field teams
· Comfortable alternating between operating equipment and supervising crew tasks
· Good with technology (Raken, iPads, email, plan viewing apps, etc.)
· OSHA 30 Certification required
