Final Salute

Martin A. Iorlano “Marty”, 82, of Wayne, formerly of Woodland Park, NJ, passed away at home with family surrounding him on July 6, 2025. He was born in Paterson to the late Mario and Blanche Iorlano. Marty graduated from Paterson Technical and Vocational High School. He proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War era as an electrician with the Naval Construction Force Seabees. Marty worked for many years as an electrician and retired from the Exxon Chemical Company. He will always be remembered for his love of cooking, his generous spirit in sharing his homemade meals and the meaningful time he spent with family.

Marty was the beloved husband of the late Erminia Iorlano for 52 years before her passing. He was the cherished father of Dina Sisto and her husband Donato and the adored grandfather of Jenna and Joseph Sisto. Marty is survived by his brother Anthony Iorlano and his wife Linda.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4pm-8pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 630 Valley Rd., Wayne, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
