Midwest Seabee Ball 2026

Calling all Seabees in the MIDWEST area, join us for the 2026 MIDWEST SEABEE BALL on Saturday, March 7 celebrating the 84th Birthday of the U.S. Navy Seabees. Come celebrate our heritage, hosted for Seabees, family, and friends in the midwest! The Midwest Seabee Ball Association is proud to sponsor the U.S. Navy Seabee birthday for the eleventh consecutive year in Minneapolis – St. Paul! With all of the currently serving and prior Seabees in the Midwest area, we are sure this can be another outstanding event with great attendance. Come celebrate our heritage and connect with Seabees you may have served with before or meet original ‘Bees who blazed the trail for the rest of us!

We would like to see as many WWII, Korea, and Vietnam era Seabees as we can! For the past several years, we have covered the cost of tickets for WWII and Korea era Seabees. Again, we raised enough money to include Vietnam era Seabees to receive complementary tickets. If you are a WWII, Korea, or Vietnam era Seabee, please contact us before purchasing your ticket. What is the uniform?

Preferred Dress / Uniform: Formal Black tie / Dinner Dress Blue Jacket / Gowns, if available. Service Dress Blue / suits / dresses, if you don’t have the Dinner Dress. Ultimately, our first priority is that you attend and help celebrate Seabee heritage… dress is secondary.

How much is the hotel room?

There is a block of rooms at the Hilton – Bloomington (where the Ball is hosted) for $105 / night. Room must be booked by Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in order to be guaranteed that rate. That room rate is good for Friday and Saturday night, if you want to come and make it a weekend getaway. You can book your room using this link. Who is invited to attend?

All Seabees past and present and their families, anyone who has ever been assigned to a Seabee command and their families, and anyone who supports the Seabees – even if they were never in the military.

Who is sponsoring this event?

This is not a Command-sponsored function associated with any one command. It will be supported by Seabees from several commands (some of whom are participating on the committee) as well as retired Seabees.
