William J. DeMeola
October 10, 1942 – March 4, 2026
William “Bill” DeMeola, 83, of Clinton, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026.
Born in New Haven and a graduate of Eli Whitney, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a SeaBee. Bill began his career as a carpenter and became co-owner of Thermal Fireproofing and Acoustics in West Haven, CT.
In 1963, Bill married the love of his life, Patricia. Together they built a home in Branford, CT, where they lived for more than fifty years before settling in Clinton.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Frances DeMeola; his brother, Andrew DeMeola; and his infant daughter, Kim DeMeola.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Patricia; his daughters, Karen DeMeola of Tolland, CT and Darnell DeMeola of Sanibel, FL; his brother, James DeMeola; sister-in-law, Michelle Zirles; many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and two much-loved granddogs, Tucker and Ollie.

Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton, CT, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Clinton.
