Raymond E. Preissner, age 88, of Park Ridge, Illinois, died peacefully on June 11, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Albert Grannis Lane Technical High School. He served as a Navy Seabee. Ray spent his career as a plumber and was a longtime member of United Association Plumbers Local 130. He was always curious, asked great questions, and loved sailboats. He was, is, and forever will be loved by his family. Ray was the loving longtime companion of Mary-Ann Fertsek, née Chiappetta; loving and beloved husband of the late Judith Preissner, née Monz, who died in 2005; dear brother of the late Alfred and the late Edgar; joyful uncle of Eric (Jo Ann), Curt (Kathy), Paul (Cathleen Mulcahy), and Karl (Erin Heidrich); and cherished great-uncle of Maxwell (Kyla), Katherine, Amelia, August, and Wilson; great-great-uncle of Violet; and dear brother-in-law of Steven Monz. A Visitation will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S Northwest Highway, Park Ridge, Illinois 60068. A Graveside Service will follow at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Illinois.
