Final Salute

BUC Lloyd (Bruce) Grant (ret) passed away suddenly on 2/26/26 and his memorial service is scheduled at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Thursday 16 July at 2:30 PM.
Bruce served in NMCB-71 at South Pole, completed winter-over assignments in Antarctica, was at and in NMCB-40 along with a few shore duty tours. After Naval service he earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in construction management. He worked for Hill International in Abhu Dhabi, and Louis Berger International in Doha, Qatar. Prior to retirement he was an Associate Professor of Construction Management at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons, Jonathan, Trevor and sisters Tracy & Susan as well as 4 grandchildren.
Any Seabees who can attend are invited to the service, his family asked that I notify our Seabee family of his untimely passing.
