Final Salute

Michael was born on January 31, 195 to Anna Mildred Huddleston and Cliff Huddleston

He was born in the Naval Hospital on the South Navy Base in Norman, Oklahoma.

Mike loved music, including playing the horn in the High School band and the Navy Seabee’s. Living by the The Seabees’ motto, “Construimus, Batuimus”, translates to “We Build, We Fight”, reflecting their dual role as skilled builders and trained combatants

He was instrumental in starting the first band of the Naval Construction Battalion in Davisville, Rhode Island and became the Drum Major for the Band in 1967.

Most of all Mike loved the Lord and all his family. He loved fiercely and completely.

He never met a stranger and never passed up anyone in need.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 62 years Glenna Huddleston and their two sons Michael and Clifford Huddleston, four grandsons and one granddaughter.

Mike will be remembered for his kind heart and loving soul.
