Lebanon – Raymond J. Jello, 87, a lifetime Lebanon resident, passed away peacefully at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital Thursday, July 2, 2026, after a brief illness.

Raymond was born in Norwich, Dec. 9, 1938, the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Mazurkiewicz) Jello. He graduated with honors from Norwich Regional Technical School Class of 1957.

Raymond retired as an electrician from Electric Boat in 2000 after many years of employment. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam as a Seabee. His favorite hobbies included traveling with his life partner of over 50 years, Barbara Mackie, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. He was the owner and operator of Rolling Acres Farm.

Raymond is survived by his life partner, Barbara Mackie of Preston; his sister Dorothy Beaudoin of North Franklin; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Stanley, Edward, Richard, and Henry Jello; and sister, Frances Hiltz.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Ave, Norwich. Graveside burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at New Lebanon Cemetery, 174 Waterman Road, Lebanon.
