Final Salute

Born in the east, Bill was a transplant who took hold easily to the gentle lifestyle of Kitsap County. In-between, he enjoyed a very challenging and successful naval career, rising from E1 to O-5. Following his military success, he continued to employ his engineering and managerial skills at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Trident Refit Facility. A good friend described Bill as a “Renaissance Man” for his uncanny ability to visualize a hurdle of a problem and to work his way to its solution. As such, he provided advice and assistance to many friends and neighbors. He is survived by his wife, three adult children, five granddaughters and one great grandchild. His favorite charity was St. Jude Hospital and he would be appreciative of your donations to that cause.
