Final Salute

​Lee Allen Partridge was born on December 22, 1940, in Fairmount, Indiana, to Frank and Hazel Partridge. A faithful servant of God, he passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and entering into the eternal presence of his Lord.

A man of quiet strength, dedication, and deep love for his family, Lee lived a full and vibrant life. In his younger years, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Seabees, helping build the Marine Corps barracks in Okinawa, Japan, while embodying the Seabee motto of hard work and ingenuity throughout his entire life. He met and married the love of his life, Karon (Berry) Partridge, in Las Vegas, Nevada, sharing 63 wonderful years of marriage. After welcoming two daughters in Reno, Nevada, Lee and Karon made the decision to move to Carnegie, Oklahoma, to be closer to her family, where they welcomed their youngest daughter. Together, they built a home and a life rooted in hard work and deep love.

​Lee worked for 26 years at the Farmers Co-op Mill and Elevator in Carnegie, Oklahoma, ultimately retiring as Fertilizer Manager. During his time at the co-op, he also assisted his parents in operating their business, The Pear Tree Donut Shop and Bakery, until their retirement. Additionally, Lee was a member of the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Where he spent many years serving on the local church board.

​For over 15 years, Lee worked side-by-side with his family, running their beloved local business, The Pear Tree Nursery, Florist, and Gifts. Whether he was working the land, building, or cultivating beautiful things, Lee was happiest working with his hands and spending quality time with those he cherished most. An avid outdoorsman and enthusiastic sports fan, he loved nothing more than camping, fishing, gardening, bird watching, and raising and training Brittany Spaniels over the years. Unwinding at home meant watching old Westerns, classic movies, or cheering on his favorite sports teams alongside his family.

​In his later years, Lee faced a long and brave struggle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s symptoms. Though his health declined, his heart, legacy, and the bond he shared with his loved ones remained unchanged. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Complete OK Home Health & Hospice of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma, for their compassionate care and support throughout the course of his care, especially during his final days.

​Lee is survived by his loving wife, Karon Partridge of Carnegie, Oklahoma; his children, Trish (Partridge) Garrett and husband Jeff of Allen, Texas, Vickie (Partridge) Epperson of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Sheri (Partridge) Aston and husband Buck of Carnegie, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Becca Morgan of Athens, Georgia, Tiffany (Morgan) Hawkins and husband David of Spokane, Washington, Julie (Morgan) Black and husband Daniel of Yukon, Oklahoma, Dalton Daugherty of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Jordan (Aston) Rauer and husband Colton of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Katie Aston and fiancé Tyler Sells of Carnegie, Oklahoma; and his great-grandchildren, Roper Mitchell, Maci Black, Abigail Hawkins, Olivia Hawkins, John Sells, William Rauer, and Leon Rauer. He is also remembered and loved by countless family members, friends, and church family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

​He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hazel Partridge; his sister, Mary Agnes (Partridge) Garvey; and his brother, LeRoy “Dale” Partridge.

In lieu of flowers, or plants memorial donations may be made in Lee’s name to the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene, Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) or a charity of your choice.
