He was a lifelong communicant of our parish now known as the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish. For a number of years he served as a Horseheads Rotary member. He thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Fur, Fin, & Feather (Rod & Gun) Club. As a life long outdoorsman, he travelled with his brother Ben and with friends, to northern Quebec and Newfoundland on fly-fishing trips and moose hunting. In the later years he found pleasure mowing and maintaining trails through the many acres he and Joyce acquired next to their home.
