LeRoy Staley Obituary

LeRoy Staley, 72, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015.

LeRoy was born August 11, 1942 in Pleasant Hill, MO to Earl and LaDonna Staley.

He graduated from East High School in Kansas City, Missouri; and served his country in the Navy Seabeas. He was a letter carrier for over 35 years. LeRoy was joined in marriage to Teresa Criger on January 18, 1992.

He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Staley and his brother, Larry John Staley.

LeRoy is survived by his father, Earl Staley; his wife of 23 years, Teresa Staley; his children, Christy Breault (Greg), and Ryan Staley; his brother, Wesley Staley (Rosa); his sister, Earlene Hieronymus; as well as 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and many other family members and friends.
A memorial visitation will be Jan. 31st from 10-11 AM with a Celebration of Life service at 11 AM at Raintree Community Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Polk County Humane Society, PO Box 334, Bolivar, Missouri 65613.
