George E. Bailor, Jr. Obituary

George E. Bailor, Jr., 93, of Millerstown, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Perry Village, New Bloomfield.

He was born on March 21, 1927 in Lewistown, PA to the late George E. Bailor, Sr. and Grace (Keim) Bailor.

George served as a Seabee in the United States Navy during WWII. He became a member of the Ancient Order of the Deep and the Domain of the Golden Dragon during his time in the Navy for having crossed over the equator.

He was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he had worked in various departments throughout his career.

George was known for his sense of humor.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 55 years, Rachael (Hetes) Bailor, his son, John E. Bailor of Carlisle, and his daughter, Rebecca R. King and her husband William of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert W. Bailor.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a future date to be announced.
