Date of passing 11/26/2022

Nagelkirk, Robert 10/22/1929 – 11/26/2022 Born October 22, 1929, Robert John Nagelkirk was the son of Peter William Nagelkirk and Jerina Pentinga Nagelkirk. “Bob” was called home to be with the Lord on November 26th, 2022. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 29, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, Kentwood. Robert is survived by his wife, Helen; four children, Beverly, John, Roy, and Russell; and sisters Marge, Wilma, and Marilyn. Our memories of Dad include: He loved wearing his SeaBees hat from his reserve service during the Korean War with the Seabees (a construction division of the Navy); doing any type of car or home repair; was always cheerful and hopeful; very practically minded; savvy with money; could talk anyone else through a car or home repair; was a great encouragement to his grandchildren in discussions of their future plans; was never afraid to learn new digital technology, and never lost his sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, half of any donation may be sent to Roy and Jennifer Nagelkirk, at Greater Europe Mission (https://gemission.org/donatemissionary/30440/), and A Moment of Hope, the pro-life sidewalk counseling ministry of Valerie Berry.
