Stephen Farrar 1938-2023
Steve Farrar of Roy passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 25, 2023.
Steve was born on September 18, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN to Ralph and Helen Farrar. The family moved to Salt Lake in the 50’s for his family business.
He attended West Minster College from 1956-1958 then transferred to Weber State College. He spent 50 years working in the auto body industry, where he retired from Jack Harris Auto Body. He also retired from the Navy Seabees after 25 years of service.
Steve married the love of his life Myrna Talbot on February 11th, 1961 (62+ years).
He is survived by his loving wife, his son Scott Farrar, daughters Wendy (Rick) Halling, and Melanie (Scott) Peterson. He is also survived by 1 brother (Galen), 3 Sisters (Mary, Millie, Anne).
He was proceeded in death by 1 sister (Linda) and 1 brother ( Roger), his son-in-law (Doug) and his granddaughter (Ashley).
A graveside service for Steve will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Roy city cemetery.
