Mark S. Morrison, 66, of Bishop Brook Road, Stewartstown, N.H., died peacefully on Monday, February 29, 2016, at the Veterans Hospital in White River Junction, Vt. Mark was born February 20, 1950, to Carroll J. Morrison and Grace E. (Dykeman) Cohenno, in Brockton, Mass. Mark graduated from Stoughton High School. Mark served in the U.S. Navy from January of 1973 to September of 1981. He served in both Vietnam and the first Persian Gulf War. Mark was a refrigeration and HVAC repairman for many years, most notable with Westinghouse. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire as a Master Mason. Throughout his entire life he enjoyed the outdoors of northern New Hampshire. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In 2010 his interest turned to gardening to keep active. Within two years he had grown his small garden into a full time job. His story can best be seen at youtu.be/6mmedZ-te1A?t=2. Mark enjoyed the company of his cousin Michael Dykeman of Bath, N.H. He leaves him behind along with his two sisters, Barbara Parks of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Carol Paulding of Hooksett, N.H.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering for friends and family March 19, at the SPA Restaurant in West Stewartstown, N.H., from 1-3 p.m.
