F. Francis “Fran” Storms, Jr. Obituary
F. Francis “Fran” Storms, Jr. 91, of Indianapolis, died January 23, 2013.
Born on March 2, 1921 to Harry Sr. and Mary Trobaugh Storms in Indianapolis, he served his country during WWII in the Seabees.
He was a 74 year member of IBEW #481 Electrical Union and enjoyed over 25 years with Avis Car Rental.
Memberships included Good Shepherd UMC, Englewood Lodge #715 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Sahara Grotto and Order of the Eastern Star, Acton Chapter #173.
Survivors include his wife: Estella Storms; children: Howard Storms (Brenda Taylor) of Indianapolis, Kathryn Vaughn (Michael) of Louisville, KY, Steve Vernick (Carol) of Indianapolis, and Lori Jones (Frankie) of Franklin; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews..
Preceding him in death are his 1st wife: Gladys Hemmer Storms, brother: C R Storms and parents.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church at 2015 S. Arlington Ave, Indianapolis 46203.
Fran will be laid to rest at Orchard Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:30 P.M. when there will be a Masonic Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church at 2015 S. Arlington Ave, Indianapolis 46203.
