Troy Maurice McDowell was born on December 24, 1971 to Christine Thomas of Delhi, Louisiana and Harold Williams of Ashtabula, Ohio.

My lovely son was preceded in death by his grandmothers Alice Williams and Dora Dean McCaleb and his grandfather John Wilson.

Troy McDowell, 47, of Tallulah, Louisiana departed his life January 4, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his parents, Christine and Willie Thomas; three sons Jamel Hale, Javon Hale and Troy McDowell Jr; daughter Myia Smiley; two sisters Tamika Dillard and Markeisha Hubbard; two grandchildren Jayden and Jomari Smiley; two nieces TiYonna and Diamon Dillard and two nephews Rixie D. Dillard III and Luis Felipe Soto Jr.
