Final Salute

September 19, 1929 – July 4, 2026 Bob was born in Laramie, Wyoming, to Guy and Martha Grant. Upon graduating the University of Wyoming with a degree in civil engineering, he joined the Navy Seabees as a Lieutenant and traveled the Mediterranean.
While stationed in San Francisco he met Patricia Towle and they married in Walnut Creek in 1955. They then moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he attended Harvard University and earned an MBA. Bob and Patricia then returned to California where he began his career. Bob found his work at Lear Siegler, Inc. as vice president in charge of acquisitions and management to be very rewarding.
Bob passed peacefully at home in Miraleste at 96. He was preceded in death by Patricia, his wife of 52 years. They are survived by their five children: Elizabeth, Sheila, Guy, Wilson, and Mary; and grandchildren: Michael, Diana, Grant, Madison, and Emma.
