Rochester – Daniel M. Bilodeau, 75, passed away Monday January 18, 2021 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a period of failing health.
Born February 9, 1945 in Lewiston, ME; he was the son of the late Raymond Bilodeau and Muriel (Dulac) Sullivan.
Dan served in the US Navy Seabees and later worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years. He was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church. He was also active with the Pease Greeters, and his high school graduating class of 1963 from Portsmouth High School.
Members of his family include his wife Muriel (Vachon) Bilodeau of Rochester, NH; his children David Bilodeau of Somersworth, NH; Rebecca Theoret and husband Stephen of Somersworth, NH; and Michelle Hunter and husband Rylan of Rochester, NH; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, his siblings Irene Payette and husband Pierre of VA; Ronald Bilodeau, Michel Bilodeau, Suzanne Fantasia, Raymond Bilodeau and wife Linda, Marie Belmont, Diane Delisle, and Patricia Van Rossum and husband David all of NH; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Eugene Bilodeau and sister, Rolande Phillips.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday January 26, 2021 from 3 – 5 PM at the Grondin Funeral Home, 177 N. Main St. Rochester, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday January 27, at 10AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the USO, Gerry’s Food Pantry or a charity of your choice.
