Mr. Kenneth Robert Lambert

Date of birth 10/18/1946
Date of passing 09/28/2026

Kenneth Robert Lambert, age 79, passed away on September 28, 2026. He was born on October
18, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Betty and Philip Lambert.

Kenneth served in the United States Navy Seabees and was a Vietnam veteran. His desire to
serve continued throughout his life through his involvement with the VA and his care for fellow
veterans. He and his wife have been members of Allons Baptist Church for eight years and he
enjoyed the fellowship shared in men’s Bible groups.

His love for his family and his relationship with the Lord Jesus were at the center of his life. A
verse that held special meaning for him was Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Kenneth was a self-taught man with a curious mind and a willingness to try just about anyting.
He loved learning, growing, and figuring out how things worked. Whether he was tinkering with
a car, working on something around the house, or tending his garden, he enjoyed keeping his
hands busy. He never met a stranger, welcomed adventure, and lived with a fearlessness that his
family will always remember.

Some of the sweetest memories of Kenneth are the simplest ones, especially the smell of a meal
filling the house while Dad was busy in the kitchen. He loved cooking, and those familiar smells
will always remind his family and friends of him. He also enjoyed listening to music and finding
something new to learn or explore.

To his grandchildren, he was “DoDAH,” a name that will always hold a special place in their
hearts. He loved his family deeply. They will carry with them his love, his familiar sayings, and
the reminder to look at life as an adventure.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carol Lambert; son, Darren Lambert and wife Jill, and their
children, Connor, Jackson, and Bella; daughter, Jessica Duke and husband Joshua, and their
daughter, Raelynn; and daughter, Julie Alverson and husband Phillip, and their children, Caleb,
Micah, and Sophia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Lambert; mother, Betty Lambert; sister, Betty
Newsome; and brother, Philip Lambert.

Visitation will be held on October 10, 2026, from noon until 2 p.m. followed by the service at
2pm at Allons Baptist Church, 2505 Celina Highway, Livingston, Tennessee 38570.

Memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International at www.gideons.org/donate.
