Final Salute
Mr. Neil Steven Taylor
Neil Steven Taylor, age 65, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born on November 17, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland to Bobbie Sanderson Taylor and the late Clinton Dee Taylor. Neil proudly served in the United States Navy Seabees for 20 years, dedicating himself to his country with honor and integrity. He was a motor and boating enthusiast and loved to shoot guns and drag race.
In addition to his mother, Bobbie Sanderson Taylor of Latta, South Carolina, Neil is survived by his son, Ian Brown (Shannan) of Velburg, Germany; daughter, Faye Walker (Corey) of Milan; brother, Scott Taylor of Deland, Florida; and the best Dude Dude to Yavanna Walker.
He is also survived by four nieces and nephews, Sarah Taylor, Leanna Taylor, Daniel Taylor and Philip Taylor and numerous friends.
A gathering, to celebrate Neil’s life, will be held at the Hyatt Place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
