HIGHLANDS — Vincenzo Annunziata, 99, of Highlands, N.J., passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, Feb. 5, 2026. He was born in Newark, N.J. and lived in Highlands, N.J. for 64 years.
Early in his career, Vincenzo worked as a heavy truck brake mechanic before starting at Tri State auto parts distribution warehouse where he worked for 15 years before retiring. He also served his country honorably in the SeaBees division of the U.S. Navy.
Vincenzo was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Rose Annunziata.
Vincenzo is survived by his daughter, Patricia (John) Adams, and son, Frank (Nancy) Annunziata, his grandchildren Brian Adams, Jason (Ashley) Adams, Jesse Annunziata, Adam (Casey) Annunziata, Kurt Annunziata, and great-grandchildren Makayla (Tyler) Harrison, Devon Adams, Haley Adams, Avery Adams, Everett Annunziata, Charolotte Annunziata, Levi Annunziata and Vera Annunziata.
Of 11 siblings, Vincenzo is survived by his sister Anna Annunziata and brother Anthony (Halina) Annunziata along with many nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 9 from 3 – 7 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.
A Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 103 Center Ave, Atlantic Highlands.
Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg, N.J.
