This statue is on an active military base. Base access is required.

Placed in front of BLDG 3509. This Bee began as a monument at Camp Moscrip.  When Camp Moscrip closed it was moved to NAB Little Creek and place in front of the 2nd Naval Construction Brigade building.  2 NCB became the First Naval Construction Division.  1 NCD moved to Building 3509 and had the Bee moved in 2012.  1 NCD was disestablished in 2013 but the Bee remained in place.

Large metal Seabees have been placed at military bases and training centers all over the world. Many are still in place and keeping watch.
