Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Project Manager (PM) to join our growing team. In this position, you will oversee financial budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and manage the construction process to meet contractual requirements. You will also organize schedules, track inventory, and oversee material ordering. Project Managers work in many areas of development and are responsible for managing a project from start to finish. PMs supervise construction, repair, and design-build projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. An understanding of the construction business and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important for career success. PMs control the time, cost, and quality of construction projects awarded by government, commercial, and industrial clients. They plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects, vendors, field personnel, logistics professionals, and others to complete all aspects of the projects within quality, time, and budgetary constraints. PMs are therefore responsible for keeping assigned projects on track. They must possess the ability to not only manage current situations as they arise, but also anticipate future challenges to resolve issues before they become problems.
