Salary: $123,432.00 - $150,048.00 Annually

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage consultant and construction contracts in compliance with Washington state procurement laws and WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines.
• Coordinate with other project managers, other cities and regional transportation agencies to understand system conflicts, long-range plans, and road user impacts.
• Stay abreast of technological advances and regulatory requirements affecting the transportation industry.
• Coordinate with other divisions and departments regarding traffic coordination and infrastructure standards development.
• Contribute to the transportation budget by providing input to the 6-year Capital Investment Program, understanding operations and maintenance costs, regulatory requirements, trip generation estimates, and other factors driving system demands.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• An ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field; and
• Five years of project management experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to perform the essential elements of the job.
• A valid driver's license is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) within the State of Washington or the ability to obtain registration within 6 months
• ITE training or PTOE certification
