The State of Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is seeking to fill one full-time Stationary Engineer position to support operations in our Power Plant in Rocky Hill. We are looking for an experienced professional who can keep our systems running safely and efficiently.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• LOCATION: Rocky Hill
• HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
• SCHEDULE: 10-week repeating scheduled covering multiple shifts
• NOTE: This position is eligible for shift and weekend differentials

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Keep boilers, steam systems, and plant equipment running safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make real-time adjustments to prevent downtime
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on pumps, valves, generators, and related systems
• Support reliable facility operations for a 24/7 campus serving Connecticut Veterans
